Kiran Ambwani

Kiran Ambwani, a Montreal-based professional photographer, has a background in anthropoly and this definely shows in her photographic essays on people in Munar, Tibetan monks in exile and slum workers in Bombay. However, she does not only specializes in social-kind of photography, but also in more commercial works. Therefore, on her website, you would discover brillant portraits, and very interesting photographs of objects and spaces. While she seems to prefer bright colors and close-ups that attract the eyes on her pictures of objects, her "anthropologic" work is mostly made in B & W and seems to have captured moments of an other dimensions that are -sadly- real.
